The World Health Organization (WHO) in Ukraine has presented the first official translation of the innovative mobile app “Primary Health Care.” The app is designed for use by doctors, nurses, and other healthcare workers who provide care for children and adolescents at the primary health care level. The app is now available in both Ukrainian and English.
The app was created based on the popular “Pocket Guide for Primary Health Care Providers Working with Children and Adolescents,” over 10,000 copies of which are already actively used by family doctors, nurses, and healthcare facility managers across Ukraine.
Why this app is worth your attention:
- Always at hand: The app is available on your phone, making it easy to use in daily practice for examinations, treatment, and consultations.
- Contains medical calculators and necessary tools: The app includes evidence-based recommendations in a convenient format.
- Summary of current WHO guidelines: It provides the latest WHO guidelines and other evidence-based recommendations.
- Treatment recommendations for children and adolescents: The app includes advice on treating children and adolescents with common complaints and conditions.
Download the app for free from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, explore its features, and join the thousands of healthcare workers using advanced technologies to improve the quality of medical care and patient safety.
The translation of the app was made possible with the support of the WHO European Regional Office for the Quality and Patient Safety Center in Athens and the financial support of the Government of Canada.
