From now on, every year on 24 February, Ukraine will celebrate the National Day of Prayer. The Verkhovna Rada has adopted a resolution. This was reported by MPs Oleksiy Honcharenko and Yaroslav Zheleznyak.
On 24 February, the Verkhovna Rada is to hold a meeting, which should begin with the performance of the spiritual anthem of Ukraine ‘God is Great, One’. Within three months, the Cabinet of Ministers is to develop and approve a comprehensive plan of measures to celebrate the National Day of Prayer at the state level.
