The eZaraz app helps users pause amid daily hustle and bustle to focus on the present moment.
To provide emotional support to Ukrainians and emphasize the importance of living in the here and now, the I AM IDEA creative agency, in collaboration with Kiss My Apps (a startup studio within the Netpeak Group), developed the eZaraz mobile application. The initiative was also supported by the Ministry of Digital Transformation. The app is available for download on the App Store and Google Play.
eZaraz sends notifications prompting users to pause, take a breath, and refocus on the present moment. Its primary goal is to help people stay grounded, avoid being consumed by daily worries, and maintain a connection with themselves amid life’s chaos.
“During a casual conversation, someone said, ‘There is now.’ At first, it was a joke, but the joke quickly turned into an idea: ‘Oh, we should create an app that reminds people the past is gone, the future is undefined, and what really matters is here and now—and that you’re doing great!’” shared Igor Finashkin, founder and creative director of I AM IDEA.
Artem Borodatiuk, founder and CEO of Netpeak Group, explained that this app marks the first public project under their collaboration, humorously called the “Ministry of Puns.”
“As the self-appointed Minister of Puns, alongside my deputy Igor Finashkin, we decided to create a simple yet powerful product with a clear message: appreciate the moment you have right now!”
According to the developers, eZaraz is not a replacement for therapy but serves as a helpful tool for uplifting people’s moods. It provides daily encouragement and practical advice. “eZaraz acts as a personal assistant, helping Ukrainians find peace, joy, and harmony in their lives,” they added.
