This month, the third ‘underground school’ will open in Zaporizhzhia, providing safe and comfortable learning for schoolchildren under martial law. This educational space allows children and teachers to communicate in real classrooms, not just through gadget screens, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Ivan Fedorov said.
The school is equipped with modern technology and meets all safety standards. The new school has 14 spacious classrooms equipped with comfortable furniture, multimedia boards, TVs and other gadgets for interactive learning. There is also a medical room, a cafeteria, a lounge area, sanitary and hygiene rooms and a sports space.
The construction of such educational facilities was a response to the security challenges faced by the educational process in the country. Thanks to their special design, the premises can serve as a shelter during an air raid, allowing students to continue their studies without interrupting classes.
