A new government initiative is being launched in Ukraine to provide women with the opportunity to acquire over 30 professions that have traditionally been male-dominated. The project offers free training for women in various fields, including technical and engineering professions. As part of the program, women will be able to gain qualifications in areas such as:
- Tram, trolleybus, and forklift driver
- CNC machine operator
- Milling machine operator
- Renewable energy systems installation and maintenance specialist
A key condition of the project is cooperation with employers. Each participant who completes the training will be guaranteed employment upon finishing the course. This not only gives women a chance to acquire a new profession but also allows them to quickly integrate into the labor market.
