The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine is launching a new electronic service called eRoslynnytstvo. This system is designed to simplify and make more transparent the process of accounting and management in the crop production sector.

What does it mean?

eRoslynnytstvo will create a single database that will combine information on various plant varieties, patents, applications and certificates. This will allow:

  • Increase transparency: Everyone will be able to access information on plant varieties grown in Ukraine.
  • Improve control: The system will help to better control the quality of seeds and planting material.
  • Simplify procedures: Many processes related to registration and certification will become more automated.

  • Protection of property rights: More effective protection of the rights of plant variety owners.
  • Increase competitiveness: Ukrainian agricultural enterprises on the global market.
  • Development of innovations: Stimulating the development of new plant varieties.

The new system is designed in accordance with international standards and is part of the government’s overall strategy for the digital transformation of public services.
