The USAID DOBRE program has announced the opening of recruitment for its unique professional development course “Resilience in Public Administration: Preparing for the Restoration of Local Communities.” This course offers important knowledge and skills for local government officials aiming to improve their qualifications in the field of community recovery and restoration.

Who can participate?
The course is open to local government employees with at least one year of work experience. It is aimed at those seeking to enhance their skills in public administration, particularly in the context of post-crisis recovery, such as after the war.
Benefits of the training program
The program offers a number of significant benefits to participants:
- Accreditation by the National Agency of Ukraine for Civil Service (NACS): The program is officially accredited, ensuring it meets the standards required for civil service.
- Online learning: The course will be held in the afternoons, allowing participants to combine it with their regular work.
- Masterclasses in Kraków (Poland): From March 24-28, 2025, participants will have the opportunity to attend hands-on masterclasses in Poland.
- Electronic certificate: Upon completion, participants will receive an electronic certificate through the NACS knowledge management portal.
- Certificate from the Małopolska School of Public Administration: Participants will also receive a certificate of completion from the Małopolska School of Public Administration at the Kraków University of Economics.
When does the training start?
The training will run from January to May 2025, providing participants with valuable knowledge and skills that will help them contribute to the rebuilding and strengthening of local communities after the war.

To apply for the program, participants need to:
- Register on the NACS knowledge management portal: https://pdp.nacs.gov.ua/ from November 5 to December 5, 2024.
- Send a motivational letter to: nstrelbitska@globalcommunities.org. In the subject line, be sure to include: Motivational Letter_Full Name_Community Name.
Participant selection
The USAID DOBRE program will select 85 participants for the professional development course. Selected participants will receive confirmation via email by December 27, 2024.
Program implementation
This training program is being implemented in collaboration with the Małopolska School of Public Administration at the Kraków University of Economics. It will provide participants with unique professional development opportunities and contribute to improving the effectiveness of public administration in Ukrainian communities.
