USAID “Harvest,” in cooperation with the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine, has announced the start of application acceptance through the State Agrarian Register (dar) to provide mobile grain dryers to farmers in frontline regions. This initiative aims to reduce post-harvest losses and ensure compliance of grain with storage and marketing standards.

The mobility of the grain dryers allows them to be used in hard-to-reach areas, enabling farmers to save up to 200 uah per ton and improve the quality of their grain.
Eligibility for the program
We invite farmers who manage between 100 and 500 hectares in Kharkiv, Sumy, or Chernihiv regions (excluding temporarily occupied territories) to apply. Priority will be given to farms led by women, people with disabilities, internally displaced persons (idps), and veterans. The grain dryers will be provided for temporary use for up to one year, with the possibility of further transfer of ownership.
How to apply
Registration is open from October 30 to November 10, 2024, through the dar. After analyzing the applications, selected participants will receive confirmation. Please note that submitting an application does not guarantee receiving the equipment, as availability is limited.
