Changes to the military registration procedure
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved changes to the Procedure for organizing and maintaining military registration. A key innovation is the implementation of electronic information interaction between the Unified State Register of conscripts, military personnel, and reservists, and the Unified Information System of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Operational data access
This innovation will allow law enforcement to quickly access information about offenders for their subsequent administrative detention and delivery to the nearest TCC or SBU offices. In cases where technical capabilities for data exchange are unavailable, the decree provides for alternative forms of communication with the National Police.
Optimizing defense forces staffing
The adopted changes aim to optimize the staffing of Ukraine’s Defense Forces and special-purpose law enforcement agencies. The digitalization of interagency interactions is expected to enhance the effectiveness of tasks related to mobilization preparation and military registration.
Amendments to previous resolution
The document amends the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Resolution No. 1487 dated December 30, 2022, “On Approval of the Procedure for Organizing and Maintaining Military Registration of Conscripts, Military Personnel, and Reservists.”
The approved changes represent an important step towards improving the effectiveness of military registration and mobilization preparation in Ukraine. Data exchange among various agencies will enhance coordination and operational efficiency in law enforcement activities.
