In the Donetsk region, 48,860 households require solid fuel to successfully get through the heating season. International organizations are actively supporting the resolution of this issue.

UNHCR, the Ukrainian Humanitarian Fund, and other organizations from the Housing Cluster are ready to assist the region. The first batch of funding has already arrived: 355 households from the Soledar, Zvanivka, Selydivka, Toretsk, Sviatohirsk, and Chasiv Yar communities will receive 21,000 UAH each for purchasing fuel by October 24.
Overall, 9,375 households will receive support from UNHCR. Those who need solid fuel for heating their homes will also receive assistance from other donors.
This initiative is an important step in ensuring comfortable living conditions during the cold season and supporting the population in challenging circumstances.
