International literary award named after Vsevolod Nestai

The Charitable Foundation “Caritas Berdychiv of the UGCC” announces the International Literary Award named after Vsevolod Nestai. The award is presented annually on January 30, the birthday of the renowned Ukrainian writer, to authors for the best children’s literary work that affirms the ideals of humanism, spiritual values of the Ukrainian people, and the ideas of Ukraine’s independence.

Awards and conditions

The award winner receives a certificate for the publication of their work and a monetary prize of 10,000 UAH, which may be increased.

Works (manuscripts) submitted for the award must be new, original, previously unpublished in final form, and belong to a single author or a group of authors.

The deadline for submitting applications is November 30, 2024.

How to submit an application

Proposals for participation in the competition should be sent to the Competition Commission at the email: caritasberdychiv@gmail.com. To participate by November 30, 2024, the following documents must be submitted:

1. Certified by the author’s own signature:

• A written application for the nomination of the work for the award, indicating the title of the work, the author’s surname, first name, patronymic, residential address, contact phone number, and email;
• A copy of the first page of the passport with the date of birth;
• A written consent to the processing of personal data in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection.” Note: If the applicant is a group of authors, copies of the identification documents of the applicants and registration numbers of taxpayer identification cards or passports must be submitted (for individuals who refuse to receive a registration number for religious reasons and have informed the relevant tax authority, as well as have a corresponding mark in their passport).
