“National Cashback”: 884 thousand Ukrainians can already see the accrued cashback in Diia

During the four weeks of beta testing of the cashback program in Ukraine, 884 thousand consumers, or 95%, who activated cards for payments in the “Diia” application, can already see the accrued cashback. This was reported by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.

Progress in Information Transfer

One of the significant achievements in the fourth week of beta testing was the improvement in the transmission of transaction information by banks. As a result, most users see their accrued cashback the next day after making a purchase. For example, cashback for purchases made on September 29 was already visible to users on the evening of September 30. Although the process of transmitting and processing transactions is not yet fully stable, work on its improvement is ongoing.

Cashback for October and September

With the beginning of October, all users can see the amount of accrued cashback for October in “Diia.” Cashback for September will be credited to Ukrainian users’ “National Cashback” cards by October 20. It is reminded that it is necessary to activate the payment card in the “Diia” application. Soon, users will also have the option to view cashback for the previous month.

Joining Retail Chains

At the beginning of this week, several retail chains, such as Epicenter K, Nova Line, Aurora, Tavria V, and others, started marking products on the shelves, joining the “National Cashback” program. New participants in the last week include Nash Krai, SPAR, and Kolo.

Retail chains and stores that are just starting their participation are encouraged to label products with cashback. A package of marketing materials for this purpose is available for download via a provided link.

Conditions for Participation in the Program

The “National Cashback” program is available on 235 thousand Ukrainian products from 1234 local manufacturers. To receive cashback, it is necessary to:

1. Submit an application through the website or mobile application of a participating bank, or visit a branch.
2. Specify the cards used for making purchases and grant the bank permission to transmit transaction information.
3. Open a physical or virtual card to which the cashback will be credited.
4. In the “Diia” application, select the “National Cashback” card for payments in the “Services” section.

A cashback of 10% is credited for the purchase of products from Ukrainian manufacturers, excluding excise goods. The maximum amount of payments is 3 thousand hryvnias per month, and the accumulated funds will be credited to the card once a month by the 20th of the following month.

The received funds can be used for various services, as well as donated to the Armed Forces of Ukraine or used to purchase military bonds. It will not be possible to withdraw cash from the account where cashback is credited. Funds accrued in 2024 can be used until January 31, 2025.
