Greenpeace Office Opens in Kyiv

The international environmental organization Greenpeace now has an office in Kyiv. As announced on the organization’s official Facebook page, in addition to the office, the team faces challenges and has many goals.

The team plans to focus on the green reconstruction of Ukraine and investigate nuclear threats surrounding the Russian-occupied Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant. The director of Greenpeace’s office in Ukraine is environmentalist Natalia Gozak.

“Our mission is to help Ukraine rebuild its social infrastructure in a sustainable way, using clean energy from solar panels, wind turbines, and heat pumps. These solutions are not just ‘green’ – they are the path to a resilient and sustainable future for Ukraine. For its own safety, Ukraine must become a leader in transitioning from fossil fuels to green technologies,” Gozak said.
