UNOPS launches Youth Engagement Platform

UNOPS invites young leaders from around the world to apply for participation in the Youth Engagement Platform. The aim of this platform is to harness the potential of young leaders to advance the Sustainable Development Agenda by 2030. The application period is now open.

Operating under the motto “30 to 30 to Reach 2030,” the platform is designed to inform about UNOPS’s approaches to anticipating and responding to new challenges. This will help strengthen intergenerational perspectives and develop practical solutions to accelerate sustainable development.

UNOPS is looking for young people aged 17 to 29 who have a passion for sustainable development, demonstrated through diverse experiences. The organization particularly values contributions from individuals of various cultural, social, and economic backgrounds, especially those representing historically underrepresented and marginalized communities.

“Youth Engagement Platform members of UNOPS will become ambassadors for our work globally. Their creativity and contributions will help strengthen intergenerational perspectives and accelerate the achievement of Global Goals,” said Valeria Kushata, Director of Human Resources and Culture at UNOPS.

This unique opportunity will allow young leaders to shape ideas that will impact their future and contribute to creating a more sustainable and inclusive world. Don’t miss the chance to join this important initiative and submit your application by August 22. Registration is available via the link.

We have previously mentioned that a new grant competition has been announced under the “Capable and Strong” program.
