A new grant competition has been announced under the “Capable and Strong” program

The Eastern Europe Foundation, with financial support from Switzerland, has announced a new grant competition under the “Capable and Strong” program. The goal of the competition is to support initiatives by civil society organizations that assist individuals affected by war, including vulnerable groups such as women, internally displaced persons, elderly people, individuals with disabilities, veterans, family members of military personnel, civilians in captivity, ethnic minorities, LGBTQ+ community members, children, and others.

Additionally, the competition also aims to support activities that enhance the resilience of civil society organizations applying for grants.

Grants will be awarded in three lots, with amounts ranging from 400,000 to 4,000,000 UAH, depending on the potential and experience of the civil society organizations. It is important to note that each organization can submit only one application for one lot, and support will be granted to only one project per organization.

Details of the competition can be found on the Eastern Europe Foundation’s official website at the following link: https://eef.org.ua/competition/novi-granty-dlya-go-2/.

We have already mentioned that the voucher program by IOM has started in the Dnipropetrovsk and Mykolaiv regions.
