The Government has collected a significant amount of problems as a result of on-site meetings in frontline communities. Now, systematic work is underway to solve these problems. This was stated by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
During a meeting on August 6, the Government made several decisions in this direction. The first one concerns the supply of liquefied gas to people.
“An experimental project will be launched for residents of Donetsk, Sumy and Kharkiv regions, which will allow them to receive gas in cylinders as humanitarian aid. Local authorities will collect applications from citizens and pass them on to gas distribution networks. Special attention will be paid to veterans, large families, single people, people with disabilities and the poor,” the Prime Minister said.
The second step is to expand the list of priority expenditures to be financed by the state in the first place. The Head of Government noted that such requests had come from all regions.
“This includes funding for the construction of shelters, energy programs of the Decarbonization Fund, and the priority of the state treasury’s funding for dental prosthetics for our defenders will be increased. Such changes will allow us to receive funds faster and finance the necessary works and services without delay,” said Denys Shmyhal.
As the Prime Minister emphasized, regional meetings of the Government will continue in order to better understand the needs on the ground.
