Destroyed housing in areas of possible combat operations will be inspected remotely

Ukraine has expanded the list of communities where destroyed housing can be inspected remotely. This will allow more citizens to obtain housing certificates through the eVidnovlennya programme in the Diya app and purchase new homes more quickly.

Remote inspection involves the use of modern technologies: satellite images, materials captured by unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as photos and videos provided by homeowners themselves. This approach speeds up the process of recording damage in communities where it may be dangerous for commissions to work directly due to possible hostilities.

The current list of settlements where this option has been introduced can be checked on the official portal.

The eVidnovlennya programme enables Ukrainians whose homes have been damaged or destroyed during the war to receive compensation in the form of certificates for the purchase of new homes. The expansion of remote surveys is another step towards restoring the housing stock in the face of military challenges.
