Ukrainian-Danish Youth House has announced recruitment for a curatorial laboratory for young professionals from all over Ukraine who want to explore social, cultural, and political phenomena through the prism of art. The program is aimed at those who are ready to experiment with curatorial formats, develop ideas for exhibition projects, and work with topics that resonate with society.
Participants will be able to complete an online module with lectures, readings, and discussions, as well as take part in an offline intensive in Kyiv, which includes workshops, visits to cultural institutions, and project pitching. The best ideas will have a chance to receive a mini-grant to implement an exhibition in their city.

The program is headed by the curator of the Laboratory, who will provide mentoring support to participants. The project creates conditions for professional growth and networking — young curators will meet experienced professionals and will be able to deepen their understanding of curatorial work in the contemporary context.
The offline part will take place at the Youth House in Kyiv from September 4 to 7, with all travel, accommodation, and meal expenses covered by the organizers. The online module will take place from August 25 to September 3.
Curators up to 35 years old with experience in implemented or conceptualized projects can apply. The deadline is August 5 inclusive.
