A new information portal, ‘MVS: Your Support,’ has been launched in Ukraine to help veterans, wounded military personnel, those released from captivity, and their families. The initiative belongs to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and aims to provide access to up-to-date and structured information about social, medical, and rehabilitation services.
The new resource contains a complete list of available assistance, including treatment, prosthetics, rehabilitation, psychological support, cash payments, employment, education, social support, and pensions. The portal also contains information about adaptive sports, driving schools for people with disabilities, mechanisms for submitting reports and applications, as well as searching for missing persons.
A separate section of the resource is the entry point to the electronic social protection office. Thanks to this, veterans and their relatives will be able to conveniently receive and apply for government services in digital format.
The launch of the platform by the Ministry of Internal Affairs complements the existing digital services for veterans. In particular, in July, the Diya app added a section called ‘Veteran Pro,’ which brings together services for combatants: from applying for subsidies to participating in the state programmes “eOselya” and ‘eVidnovlennia,’ as well as confirming status or applying for payments.
The ‘MVS: Your Support’ portal is designed to simplify access to important information, making the process of obtaining assistance more transparent and convenient for people who have gone through war or are on the path to adaptation.
