The renovated facility is scheduled to open this autumn. The centre will become an important place of support for children under the age of 18 who need physical, psychological, educational and social assistance. The new space will be staffed by specialists in various fields, from rehabilitation and speech therapists to art therapists, paediatric neurologists and physical therapy specialists.

The project is being implemented with the participation of international partners. Part of the funding was provided by the charitable organisation CORE Ukraine with the support of the South Korean company SsangYong.

During his visit to Kyiv region, the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea also visited places of remembrance in the communities that suffered the greatest losses as a result of the full-scale invasion. In particular, he visited the Church of St Andrew the First-Called in Bucha, where a mass grave of civilians was discovered, the cemetery of destroyed cars in Irpin, and the destroyed Romanivskyi Bridge.
