After night attack on Kyiv, Red Cross provides assistance to victims

On the night of 10 July, Kyiv was again hit by enemy attacks. According to Ukraine’s State Emergency Service, two people died and at least 13 more were injured. Residential buildings, offices, administrative and industrial facilities were damaged in the city.

Immediately after the shelling, volunteers from the rapid response team of the National Committee of the Red Cross Society of Ukraine worked at the scene. They provided first aid and initial psychological support to the victims at two locations. One woman was accompanied to the emergency medical team.

Currently, in one of the areas where the aftermath of the shelling is being cleared up, representatives of the Ukrainian Red Cross are setting up an aid station for local residents.

Rescue workers and volunteers continue to work in areas where damage has been reported.
