Six regions of Ukraine have the opportunity to receive funding for cultural and artistic initiatives that promote social cohesion and the development of local communities. As part of the Turnkey grant project, a competition has been announced to support ideas aimed at strengthening common values, shaping local identity, and developing conflict-sensitive dialogue through culture and art.
The regions in question are Vinnytsia, Volyn, Odesa, Sumy, Ternopil and Khmelnytskyi. The amount of grant support ranges from 200 to 350 thousand hryvnias. Both institutions and independent artists or initiative groups that have ideas for cultural products or formats of interaction with communities are invited to participate.
Eligible formats include art objects, exhibitions, performances, video and audio content, educational and inclusive art products, creation of cultural routes, virtual tours, digital archives and collections, and acceleration programmes for artists. The programme encourages new approaches to working with local communities, supporting projects that can be an impetus for lasting change.
The grant initiative aims not only to develop the cultural sphere but also to strengthen mutual understanding and trust between residents of different parts of the country. For detailed terms of participation, please contact the project representatives on the website of the Time for Change Development Centre.
