The state pays up to one million hryvnia to families of those killed and injured in shelling

The Ukrainian government is stepping up support for citizens who have suffered damage as a result of the full-scale invasion by the Russian Federation. A one-time payment of assistance is intended for those who were injured, fell ill or lost loved ones during the hostilities and shelling. Among the applicants are civilian workers, energy workers, utility workers, medical workers, local government employees and anyone who continued to perform their duties in the risk zone.

According to the Pension Fund, the families of those killed can expect a payment of UAH 1,000,000. Persons with a first-degree disability will receive UAH 800,000, those with a second-degree disability will receive UAH 500,000, and those with a third-degree disability will receive UAH 200,000. Applications for assistance can be submitted in person or online via the Pension Fund portal: portal.pfu.gov.ua. The deadline for reviewing documents provides for the prompt resolution of issues without unnecessary bureaucratic procedures.
