Grants of up to €20,000 for cultural initiatives working in the context of war

Non-profit organisations that support and develop culture even during a full-scale invasion can receive funding of between €10,000 and €20,000. The grant programme is aimed at local initiatives, such as cultural centres, art spaces, clubs, activist associations and other independent cultural players.

The funds received can be used to repair damaged buildings, arrange indoor and outdoor spaces for events, purchase technical equipment, furniture, tools, pay for construction workers, and deliver materials. The programme also covers fuel costs and fees for the core team. For example, an organisation can renovate a museum, create a space for open-air film screenings, or purchase microphones for podcasts about culture during the war.

In addition to financial support, participants will have access to the alumni community, which is a constant source of new opportunities, grants, partnerships, and professional contacts. This community helps cultural initiatives to develop even in the face of instability and risks.

Only non-profit organisations working in the cultural sector can apply. The application deadline is 25 June 2025 at 15:00 Kyiv time.
