UNFPA Ukraine is organising a two-day offline training in Uman on the prevention of domestic and gender-based violence. The event, entitled “Domestic and Gender-Based Violence: Knowing, Preventing, and Influencing”, will take place on 3-4 July from 09:00 to 18:00.

Representatives of NGOs, the educational sector, activists, opinion leaders, employees of condominiums, libraries and the service sector are invited to participate. The training programme includes intensive training with experts, practical case studies, introduction to methods of recognising violence and action algorithms, the Icebreaker game, analysis of the Guide to Changing Social Norms, and creation of a community action plan.
Prior to offline participation, a short online training on terminology and legislation is required. Participants will receive certificates and gifts. Registration is open until 24 June, 16:00.
