Residents of Ternopil Oblast can now receive rehabilitation services without having to leave their homes. Since May, mobile rehabilitation teams have been operating in the region, and they have already started working in the Vyshnivtsi, Khorostkiv and Kopychynets communities.

The specialists provide support to people going through the stages of recovery from injuries, stroke, surgery, loss of limbs or joint replacement. They work not only with the physical condition of patients, but also with their emotional well-being, helping them to return to a normal rhythm of life and social activity.

The initiative is being implemented with the participation of Ukrainian Red Cross specialists and is aimed at expanding access to quality rehabilitation without interrupting the patient’s usual environment.
