The Archium platform is an inter-archival portal that provides centralised access to digital resources of the country’s state archives. The State Archives of Kyiv Region became the ninth archive to join the system. Now users have public access to more than 3.7 million digital images of documents and 4,267 archival fonds, covering the period from 1682 to the present day.
According to the director of the archive, Sofia Kameneva, the initiative is an example of successful cross-sectoral cooperation and part of the strategy for the protection of documentary heritage. “We are working in the time space of centuries, and users can now freely explore it,” she said.

Filtration files of Ostarbeiters, civil registration books, and documents about the liberation struggle of Ukrainians in the twentieth century.
