Entrepreneurs in Poltava region can now access financial support to hire new employees. As part of the project “Support for Social and Financial Recovery of War-Affected Communities in Poltava Region”, registration is now open for business owners seeking grant assistance.
The initiative offers partial compensation for salaries of new staff for up to three months. The grant provides up to UAH 55,000 per employee, before tax. To qualify, businesses must operate in Poltava region and employ at least two people under the programme.
The project is implemented by the NGO Light of Hope in partnership with JERU (Joint Emergency Response in Ukraine), a coalition of international NGOs Welthungerhilfe and Concern Worldwide. Funding is provided by Germany’s Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
