The platform provides full support — from CV writing to searching for current vacancies. It also helps to transform combat experience into the language of civilian professions and increase the chances of successful employment. Users can take online training, learn new skills and adapt their experience to the requirements of the modern labour market.
‘A strong veteran policy is the result of the daily work of the state, civil society and business. We are creating solutions that return veterans to an active, dignified life,’ said Iryna Vereshchuk, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.
Natalia Kalmykova, Minister of Veterans Affairs, stressed that the platform should become a bridge between combat experience and civilian professions. She emphasised that the skills veterans acquire during their service — strategic thinking, responsibility, and the ability to make decisions under stressful conditions — are often underestimated but are extremely valuable to employers.
The initiative was implemented within the framework of the project ‘Development of tools to support the employment of veterans’ with the support of the International Renaissance Foundation. The platform is already available online at the following link: https://work.veteranfund.com.ua/
