The first batch of 896 books has already been delivered to the modular town in Brovary. By the end of May, each of the temporary centres will receive 28 copies of books: from historical chronicles and fiction to children’s books, military diaries and security books.
The project is being implemented through the cooperation of the IDP Council at the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Samit-Knyha Publishing House and the Kyiv Regional Library for Children. Its goal is not only to provide access to quality reading, but also to support internally displaced Ukrainians emotionally, while maintaining a connection with language, culture and critical thinking.
