This weekend, Kyiv experienced one of the largest drone attacks on record. The head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachenko, said that the Russians continue to use terrorist tactics, striking at residential infrastructure.
One of the main problems faced by rescuers in the aftermath of the attacks was densely parked yards. As a result, specialised vehicles could not quickly reach the affected areas.

In this regard, Kyiv will launch a large-scale inspection of compliance with parking rules. The Kyiv City State Administration has instructed the relevant departments to organise regular inspections of problematic residential areas. Management companies, condominiums, and housing cooperatives will be involved in the control.
The Department of Transport Infrastructure will also develop a plan for the arrangement of anti-parking zones, and the Department of Finance will identify sources of funding for these measures. Together with the Kyiv State Emergency Service, a list of addresses will be drawn up to ensure unimpeded passage for emergency services.
Tkachenko stressed that this is a long process, but it has already begun. He also urged Kyiv residents not to park in their yards and report abandoned cars that block the passage of rescuers and emergency services.
