Both hospitals have had their facades insulated and thermal insulation improved, which will help reduce utility costs. St Luke’s Hospital, which has the largest burn unit in western Ukraine, has already reduced its energy consumption by 33%. The saved funds will be used to develop the hospital and improve the quality of services.

The renovation of Kindergarten No. 7 in Truskavets has created more comfortable conditions for children and educators.

The total cost of the works in these two institutions exceeded €1.12 million. As part of the EIB’s rehabilitation programme in Lviv region, two facilities have already been renovated and six more are under reconstruction. The total investment in the region is more than €15 million, which will modernise educational and healthcare facilities.
