Ukrainian pharmaceutical manufacturers have signed a declaration on reducing and stabilising prices for medicines. This was reported by the Ministry of Health.
The signatories agreed to reduce the selling prices of the 100 most popular Ukrainian medicines by 30% starting from 1 March.
The 100 most popular medicines, i.e. those that, according to analytical data, are most often purchased by Ukrainians, include 20 items manufactured by Darnitsa, 17 items by Farmak, 22 items by Kyiv Vitamin Plant, 5 items by Kusum Farm, 6 items by Yuria-Pharm, 8 items by Arterium Corporation, 2 items by Viola Pharmaceutical Factory, 3 items by Borshchahivskiy Chemical and Pharmaceutical Plant, and 10 items by InterChem.
The list includes medicines used for coughs and colds, antihistamines, anti-inflammatory and anti-rheumatic drugs, vitamins and minerals, blood pressure medicines, anti-ulcer drugs, sedatives, eye drops, nasal sprays, and others. A detailed list is available here. Prices will be reduced from 1 March 2025.
