The government will allocate more than UAH 1.5 billion to support the security of the Chornobyl nuclear power plant shelter, which was attacked by a Russian drone on the night of 14 February. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
Funding has been increased by 139 million compared to 2024. There are also plans to raise a €400 million loan from the European Investment Bank. According to the Prime Minister, these funds will be used for energy-efficient reconstruction.
