The Diia app may add a new feature — online divorce. The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine is already analysing the algorithms for implementing this service. This was reported by Valeria Koval, Deputy Director for the Development of Electronic Services of the Ministry of Digital Transformation, on the Kyiv24 TV channel.

The development team is currently studying the legal and technical aspects of the process. According to Koval, this is a logical continuation of the digitalisation of public services. Earlier, Diia launched an online marriage option, and more than 2,000 couples have already used it.
Experts note that the introduction of online divorce can significantly simplify bureaucratic procedures for Ukrainians. In many countries, digital divorce services are already in operation, which minimises time spent and simplifies interaction with government agencies.
So far, there is no official date for the launch of the service, but the Ministry of Digital Transformation continues to work on its implementation. It is expected that once the analysis and legal settlement are completed, online divorce will be available in a few clicks.
