Ukraine is planning to create a single route that will unite the places of remembrance associated with historical events and the war. This project could become part of tourist routes, attracting the attention of the international community and helping to spread knowledge about the events of the past.
The working group, which includes representatives of the Committee on Humanitarian and Information Policy, has already held its first meeting. According to Iryna Konstankevych, First Deputy Chairman of the Committee, memorialisation of memorial sites is not only a manifestation of respect for the past, but also an important tool for highlighting the truth about the crimes of the occupiers.

The route will include locations of historical significance, memorials dedicated to the victims, as well as places associated with documentary evidence, such as archives and memoirs. This project could be an important step in preserving historical memory and developing the country’s tourism infrastructure.
