These services are designed to simplify the application process and minimise bureaucratic obstacles for veterans and their families. According to Natalia Kalmykova, Minister of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine, the innovation will allow families to receive the necessary services both online and offline. In addition, authorised persons of local structural units on veterans’ policy will have access to an electronic cabinet for processing applications.
Digitalisation of services and ensuring their barrier-free accessibility is a priority for the Ministry of Veterans. The development of new services is supported by the Diia Support Project.
It is expected that after the beta testing is completed, the new services will be available to all users, which will greatly facilitate the obtaining of statuses and access to services for thousands of veterans and families of the fallen.
