Grant competition to support vulnerable businesses

Within the framework of the project Support for Economic Development of Internally Displaced Persons and Persons Affected by the War in Ukraine. In cooperation with the Czech Development Agency and with funding from the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic, Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation has announced the launch of a grant competition for entrepreneurs. The initiative is aimed at supporting those who want to start, restore or expand their business activities.

Priority will be given to internally displaced persons, socially vulnerable categories (veterans, people with disabilities, large families, people who have lost their homes or income due to the war) and representatives of other vulnerable groups. Preference will be given to projects from the construction, car service, HoReCa, farming, sewing, and other industries.

The maximum grant amount is UAH 117,000. The money can be used to purchase equipment, consumables, or pay for equipment setup and consulting services.

An online information session for potential participants will be held on 30 January 2025. Registration is open until 29 January. The application deadline is 9 February 2025.
