In particular, it has been announced that £100 million will be made available for humanitarian needs, including support for organisations such as the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA) and the Ukrainian Red Cross. This financial assistance will help save lives in the most vulnerable regions of Ukraine.

In addition, the UK is providing £40 million to stimulate the Ukrainian economy, including attracting private investment and facilitating trade. This step is aimed at ensuring sustainable economic development and improving the living standards of Ukrainians.

This historic agreement demonstrates the UK’s long-term commitment to working with Ukraine on the basis of mutual support and trust. The partnership is expected to open up new opportunities for both countries in the areas of economy, security and international cooperation.
