The Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said that more than 11 million applications have been received for UAH 1,000 under the Winter eSupport programme, and more than 8 million Ukrainians have already received these funds. The government will continue to implement this initiative in 2025.
In January, the payment of the Teacher’s Supplement will also start, which provides an additional UAH 1,000 per month for each teacher, and from September this amount will increase to UAH 2,000.
Denys Shmyhal also spoke about the eBook initiative, which has already collected more than 56,000 applications from citizens who turned 18 in 2024. As part of the Winter Support, applications for rental subsidies for internally displaced persons will be accepted this month.
