Bashlyk thanked veterinary institutions and doctors for their active participation in the campaign, which is already gaining momentum. In addition, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy is working on legislative changes that will facilitate the work of veterinarians and provide them with additional benefits. He also noted that the readiness of veterinary institutions to work with the Register is a crucial factor for the success of the campaign.
Mykhailo Tuyakhov, Deputy Head of the Department of Animal Health and Welfare at the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection, emphasised the speed of processing authorisation applications. It takes only a few days to make a decision on each application, which is a significant improvement for the veterinary sector.

In addition, during the pilot launch of the Register, veterinary experts reported that it takes about 10 minutes to register one animal. The Deputy Minister added that the success of the registration depends on the cooperation of all participants in the process, both the government and veterinarians.
The pet registration campaign is part of the broader development of veterinary medicine in Ukraine, and registration itself will become mandatory in 2025. BRDO’s Better Regulation Delivery Office, together with international partners, is working to improve the Register and further integrate it into the system.
