Since the beginning of 2024, Ukrainians have taken out 8,300 loans totalling UAH 14.2 billion under the eOselya affordable mortgage programme. This was announced by Andriy Teliupa, Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine.
The programme performs two key functions: it provides citizens with affordable housing and stimulates the development of the construction industry. The government has placed a special emphasis on supporting the primary real estate market. This has yielded tangible results: since the beginning of the year, 2,669 Ukrainian families have purchased housing on the primary market, accounting for 32% of all loans.
