The “Unity for Action” program is announcing a scholarship competition for internally displaced persons (IDPs) to enroll in short-term educational courses and programs that will help them gain new skills and adapt to the labor market.

What is being offered?
The competition provides scholarships of up to 500 USD for IDPs who want to enhance their professional skills through short-term courses or programs. The scholarship covers the cost of the course, which will be paid directly by IREX to the educational institution.
Applicants can choose courses for retraining or skill enhancement in any field of activity. However, IREX recommends focusing on priority sectors such as agriculture, energy, retail, transportation, and logistics. The selection is not limited to these fields.
When will the training begin?
The winners of the competition will start their courses on February 15, 2025. The course must be completed by August 31, 2025, at the latest. The duration of the course can be up to 6 months within these time frames, so this should be taken into account when choosing a course.
