“National cashback”: One-fifth of Ukrainians who received funds for September already spent them

The “National Cashback” program continues to grow in Ukraine, attracting more participants who earn bonuses for their purchases. At the end of October 2024, one-fifth of Ukrainians who received cashback for September had already spent their funds on various needs. The program is showing significant growth, with Ukrainians actively taking advantage of the “National Cashback” benefits.

“National cashback” in numbers

According to results from October, key program indicators highlight its popularity and effectiveness:

  • 120,000 Ukrainians made payments using the “National Cashback” card;
  • Over 500,000 Ukrainians are holding funds in their accounts within the program;
  • 37.2 million UAH were paid out as cashback for September;
  • 125 million UAH of cashback was accumulated in October, which is three times more than in September.

How Ukrainians are spending their funds

Participants of the program are actively using their funds for various needs. Specifically:

  • 50% of participants topped up their mobile accounts;
  • 35% paid utility bills;
  • The rest spent their funds on internet, transportation, and food services.

This reflects the wide accessibility of the program and its usefulness for everyday expenses.

What’s next?

Cashback funds accumulated in October will be paid out at the end of November 2024. It’s important to note that “National Cashback” funds are not subject to taxes, making the program even more attractive for Ukrainians.
