What does it mean?
From now on, every community where children with SEN study is obliged to ensure that they are transported to school by comfortable and safe transport. The number of seats in the bus will directly depend on the number of children with special needs living in the community.
The buses will be equipped with everything necessary for a safe and comfortable journey for children with SEN. In particular, there will be places for wheelchairs, as well as special seats for accompanying persons.
Project funding
The government has allocated significant funds to implement this important project. In 2024, UAH 1.2 billion was allocated for the purchase of school buses. These funds have already been used to purchase more than 400 specialised buses, which are already running on routes across the country.
