REDpreneur.UA Program

REDpreneur.UA is an international franchise for entrepreneurship development launched by the Ukrainian Red Cross in cooperation with the Austrian Red Cross and the “Neighbour in Need” foundation (Austria). The program is being implemented in Ukraine from September 2024 to December 2025 as part of a global initiative supporting socially responsible entrepreneurship and economic resilience for vulnerable populations.

Key Features of the Program:

  • Financial support in the form of grants.
  • Coaching and mentorship for business development.
  • Unique learning experiences through business schools and business incubators.

The program targets vulnerable populations, including:

  • Internally displaced persons (IDPs).
  • People with disabilities.
  • Women in difficult life circumstances.
  • Unemployed individuals.
  • Other vulnerable groups.

The main goal of the program is to create a business incubation center for social entrepreneurship in Ukraine, which will help establish financially sustainable business models capable of supporting the local economy and ensuring long-term stability.

“Restart: Expanding Employment Opportunities” Program

The “Restart: Expanding Employment Opportunities” program offers the chance to apply for microgrants to restore a lost business or start a new one.

Geographical Areas of Implementation:

  • Vinnytsia and Cherkasy regions – with support from the Spanish Red Cross.
  • Ternopil and Kirovohrad regions – with support from the Swiss Red Cross.
  • Mykolaiv region – with support from the Danish Red Cross.

Who can receive grant support?
Vulnerable populations eligible for the program include:

  • Internally displaced persons (IDPs).
  • Veterans and their families.
  • Sole proprietors (SP) who are already registered or those planning to start their own business.

The goal of this program is to help people who have lost nearly everything restore their financial stability and open or develop a business in their region.

Common Features of Both Programs

Both programs aim to support entrepreneurs and contribute to the restoration of economic stability and the development of entrepreneurship in Ukraine. In addition to financial support, participants receive training and access to tools for developing socially responsible businesses.

The “Restart: Expanding Employment Opportunities” program also includes a special training program for vulnerable populations, which is available to individuals who have not applied for grant support under any of the other two programs.

Important Information for Potential Participants

It is not possible to apply for both programs simultaneously, as each has its own requirements. Therefore, we encourage you to carefully review the conditions and choose the program that best meets your needs.
