In October 2024, Ukrainians accumulated three times more national cashback than in the previous month. The total amount of cashback granted to citizens for the second month of the program is 125 million UAH. This was announced by the First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine and Minister of Economy, Yulia Svyrydenko.

Increase in program participants
The number of consumers participating in the program has nearly doubled. As of October 31, 3 million citizens have opened 3.2 million national cashback cards. “National cashback” is a form of support for citizens from the government. Yulia Svyrydenko noted that the growing interest in the program positively impacts the economy: “The more citizens buy local goods, the greater the assistance they will receive from the state.”
Payouts for October
Payments for the cashback accumulated by consumers in October will occur at the end of November on the national cashback payout card. To receive funds on time, it is necessary to activate this card in the Diia app. Currently, 1.9 million citizens have already completed this requirement.
It is worth noting that last month, Ukrainians received 37.2 million UAH in cashback for September. The payout for October, which will take place at the end of November, will be received by three times more people.
Program participation conditions
National cashback funds are not subject to taxation. A cashback of 10% is granted for purchases of Ukrainian goods included in the program. As of the end of October, 1,500 manufacturers have offered 300,000 local products.
To understand which products qualify for cashback, consumers can use the barcode scanner in the Diia app. Major retail chains also label cashback products on price tags. Stores participating in the program display signs stating “National cashback program here.”
Using cashback
Cashback can be spent on various services, including utility, medical, educational, and transportation services. Additionally, it can be donated to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine or for purchasing military bonds.
How to join the program
To become a participant in the “National cashback” program, you need to:
- Open a national cashback payout card at a bank branch or via the bank’s website or app. Participating banks include PrivatBank, monobank, Ukrgasbank, and others.
- Provide the bank permission to share transaction information.
- In the Diia app, activate the “National cashback” card in the “Services” section.
The program continues to evolve, and its popularity highlights the importance of supporting Ukrainian producers and consumers in the current economic climate.
