The initiative aims to provide the necessary skills for in-demand professions in the most dynamic sectors of the economy, particularly in construction and logistics. Special attention will be given to supporting women in acquiring skills in traditionally male-dominated professions, contributing to reducing gender inequality in the labor market.
The main objective of the initiative is to strengthen partnerships between the private sector and vocational education institutions. The project aims to create new jobs and equip job seekers with the skills needed for employment in promising sectors of the economy.
The initiative consists of eight components, each with a budget of $230,000. The program’s implementation is planned from November 2024 to June 30, 2025.
Applications for participation in the initiative are accepted until November 29, 2024, from companies, business associations or clusters, non-profit organizations, civil society organizations, private universities, or vocational training institutions (VTIs) legally registered in government-controlled areas of Ukraine.
