With the support of South Korea and the International Organization for Migration (IOM), a new project aimed at assisting Ukrainians affected by the war has been launched. The initiative, implemented by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) in partnership with IOM, aims to support people in difficult life circumstances and to restore communities.
Project Duration:
The project is planned for three years, during which it is expected that over 40,000 people will receive assistance.
Geographical Focus:
Within the framework of the project, material and technical assistance will be provided to 24 communities in Chernihiv, Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Dnipropetrovsk regions. Special attention will be given to vulnerable population groups.
Project Budget:
The total budget for the initiative is $8.52 million.
Collaboration with the Government:
The implementation of the initiative will occur in collaboration with the Government of Ukraine, specifically with the Ministry of Social Policy and the Ministry of Restoration.
This initiative aims not only to restore infrastructure but also to improve the lives of those affected by the war, helping them adapt to new conditions.
