UN Women Ukraine: Increasing the Role of Women in Leadership Positions

Today, only 27 countries are led by women, and the number of women in leadership roles is significantly lower than that of men. Changing this statistic in favor of increasing the number of women in leadership positions is a pressing task. This can be achieved, in particular, through the implementation of the Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs) in the operations of companies and organizations.

Invitation to Training

UN Women Ukraine invites you to a three-day training on implementing WEPs, which will take place from November 26 to 28, 2024, in Kyiv. During this training, participants will learn about the WEPs principles and how to implement them in the workplace, as well as develop approaches and strategies to ensure gender equality within teams.

Who Can Apply?

Participants are invited from:

  • Women business owners
  • Representatives of public and private companies (management level)
  • Representatives of civil society organizations
  • Representatives of business associations

The training on the implementation of the Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs) is part of the initiative “Empowering Women in Business,” carried out within the framework of the project “Transformational Approaches to Achieving Gender Equality in Ukraine,” implemented by UN Women Ukraine with financial support from the Government of Sweden (Embassy of Sweden in Kyiv) in cooperation with the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration.
